About us

OUR STORY

Welcome to Little BigHeads!

We are an independently owned specialist children's store and website. We began our journey in 2012 with a tiny little shop in Wilmslow, Cheshire.  We wanted to create a space where children can have a really good haircut in a fun and child centric environment, turning what is often viewed as a chore into an enjoyable experience for them. In 2014 we set up our Bramhall shop which was bigger and allowed us to add a children's shoe department, then children's accessories and clothing from trusted high quality brands, followed by toys and books. We really are a one stop shop for all things 'cool kid!'
Every brand we stock is chosen with love and care, as if we were buying for our own children.  (Between the entire team we have 20 children between us, ranging from ages 6 months to 30+!) So we've had a bit of practice at what we think works!

Foot Measuring Guide

Please use this to help find the correct size for your child.

Little Bigheads measuring guide Step1 Step 1 

Tape a piece of paper onto the floor, starting from the wall. Stand against the wall with your back upright to the frame, Make sure your heel is right up against the wall.

Make sure the foot is flat to the floor, making sure toes are flat and heel is right up against the wall. Place a ruler or tape measure along side the foot.

Place a book at the tip of the longest toe, this helps you clearly see the foot measurement on your tape measure or ruler.

Take a pencil and whilst holding the pencil at a 90 degree angle mark where the tip of the longest toe stops. Now take a note of the measurement, use the guide* below to find the correct shoe size.
